The Making

20 Weeks.
One Watch.

From raw billet to wrist-ready — five stages, twenty weeks, zero compromises. This is what goes into every Timex that bears our name.

01
✏️
Weeks 1–4

Design & Engineering

Every Timex begins as a technical sketch — proportions calculated, tolerances defined, heritage references studied. CAD models simulate stress, wear, and aesthetics before a single component is cut.

02
🏭
Weeks 5–8

Component Fabrication

Cases stamped from solid stainless steel billets or cast from recycled aluminum. Crystals sapphire or acrylic, cut and polished. Dials printed, brushed, or sunburst-finished in dedicated facilities.

03
⚙️
Weeks 9–12

Movement Assembly

Quartz modules calibrated to ±15 sec/month. Automatic rotors balanced, jewels set, mainsprings tensioned. Each movement tested in 5 positions, 3 temperatures before casing.

04
🔧
Weeks 13–16

Final Assembly

Clean-room environment. Hands set by hand — literally. Crowns screwed down, gaskets seated, casebacks pressed. Water resistance tested at 125% rated depth. Indiglo panels laminated.

05
✅
Weeks 17–20

Quality & Certification

72-hour burn-in for quartz. 14-day rate tracking for automatics. Shock, magnetic, and thermal shock tests. Every watch leaves with a unique serial and 2-year global warranty.
